Abstract
An Act for Regulating and Governing the Militia of the Territory of New Orleans,§ 13: each non-commissioned officer and private of the infantry, shall constantly keep himself provided with good musket or guns, a sufficient bayonet and belt, two spare flints and a knapsack, a cartridge box or pouch, with box therein to contain not less than twenty-four cartridges
