dc.description.abstract§ 57: That any person who shall within the city of Beloit, shoot off, fire or discharge any cannon, gun fowling piece, revolver or pistol of any kind, or firearms of any description, or fire explode or set off any squib, fire cracker or other thing containing powder, or other combustible or explosive material, without permission from the Mayor, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor..."
