dc.description.abstractPriv. Laws, ch. 23, § 32: That it shall not he lawful for any person to discharge fire-arms within the bounds of said town, except on muster days or other service, and persons offending against this regulation shall be fined not more than five dollars, or imprisoned not to exceed ten days; but double this penalty shall be enforced if the offence be committed in the night; one half to the informer the other half to the town."
