Acts Relating to the City of Brooklyn, and the Ordinances Thereof 25 (1836)

Abstract
Tit. 1, § 1: That it shall not be lawful for any person within the first six wards, and in so much of the seventh ward as lies westerly of Clinton avenue and the Jamaica turnpike, southerly of the place where the said turnpike is intersected by Clinton avenue, in said city, to fire or discharge any gun, pistol, fowling piece, or fire arms, or to explode or set off any squib, cracker, or other thing containing gunpowder, or any combustible material, under the penalty of five dollars for each and every offence.
